I find this article, sort of pointless. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.208.8.98 (talk) 18:08, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
I find your use of comma, sort of pointless.
My personal opinion would be to combine Control-V, Control-C, etc. into one article about Key Commands, not as individual articles. (Lkritchey (talk) 14:40, 31 August 2012 (UTC))
Has any progress been made on the state of this article? I like the combining of certain articles into one Key Commands article. -UltraSonjatalk 20:12, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
Keyboard Vendor Crimes
[edit]I don't think consciously about typing Ctrl-V (or any other oft-used combination) until I had to upgrade a keyboard. Turns out some keyboards have the left Ctrl key so far from the V key that one cannot actually type Ctrl-V with one hand (or at least, not comfortably or risking pain in the thumb). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.156.119.242 (talk) 22:18, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
Control-V is not a control character
[edit]Control-V is a key stroke, not a control character. This article even makes it extremely clear that Control-V has multiple uses. It can be used to generate a character but it can be used in a variety of ways depending on the application. Operating systems and applications do not always recognize the keystroke as a character but instead it is (usually) recognized as the combination of two keys. Everything in this article can and should be in a different subject. Sam Tomato (talk) 01:52, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
Representation
[edit]In the Representation section it shows hexadecimal in the 0x and U+ formats but it shows decimal and octal without syntax such as that. Use of "0x" and "U+" are for when the base of the number is not otherwise defined. If we state explicitly what base a number is in then there is no need for redundant (and I am being redundant there) specification of the base. Sam Tomato (talk) 02:05, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
