I created this article as I thought there was the need for a article on the subject, particularly given the increased use of continuum percolation theory applied to wireless networks in recent years.
I don't know much about continuum percolation outside of an engineering context. If anyone can think of more applications of it, please add.
Perhaps the percolation theory article can be tidied up a bit, to agree with the style of this one. I don't think the two articles need to be combined.
