The lede says CFPB funding "is allocated from the Federal Treasury budget". The body says nothing about the Treasury, but refers to "when the agency was funded by the Federal Reserve." The latter statement implies that this changed over time. The lede should match the body, and the article should clarify the funding mechanism as it is material to the case.
