Jargon/acronyms need to be culled
[edit]- "routinely achieving accuracy F-scores for PoS (word class) of over 99%."
What does that mean? I gather PoS is "parts of speech" (and F-score is F1-score, a measure of the effectiveness of a test, in this case the measure of the parser putting the right thing in the right slot) so I gather the parser is very successful at placing words and phrases of a natural language excerpt into a classification of parts of speech. I notice that the claim isn't cited either and it probably comes from the authors of the parser(s) in question (which means that we probably should put an "allegedly" in there to preserve the impartial point of view). -- KarlHallowell (talk) 15:31, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
