You have a good start for an outline. The subheading "Materials" can work, but maybe for ease of reading a couple subheadings like "Interior" and "Exterior" would be a good way to organize your information under Conservation . I don't think you need the heading "Definition" above your article's statement of purpose. Also, if you have not done this I found looking at other good articles as examples was helpful. I actually went in to the 'edit source' tab on articles I liked and looked at how they did the formatting. I thought the heading "Examples" meant example lighthouse conservation projects, but I think these are your references, so you might want to change that heading. I can't imagine how to move a lighthouse, what a amazing task that would be. I like that you include that at the end, makes for a fun way to finish the article. Hi Emily, I absolutely love the idea of an article on conservation and preservation of lighthouses, so great job taking on this one! The materials section was very thorough and shows the complexity of lighthouses as objects. Maybe it will be more clear in the finished article, but I was wondering if the materials section was just explaining how these are talking about the specific con's of these materials and how they can deteriorate over time, or is this going to include processes for conservation and preservation too? I'd love to see more instances oh what people could do preventative-wise (The National Historic Preservation approved paints don't work, so what do people do instead?)
