Clean-up
[edit]Needs formatting, sections, if he is so important it would be nice to have some sources. Also POV issues here. A photo might help too. Jdcooper 15:39, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- I have tried to address some of the issues you raised (proper sections, neutral POV on the bits I wrote or edited). I am very concerned about some claims made by the original author. I can find no online evidence that Conny Plank ever produced or worked with Echo and the Bunnymen in any way. There are a few examples of that sort of thing. I'd like to see some response by people more knowledgeable about Plank's career than I am. Caitlynmaire 17:30, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
List of recordings
[edit]I'd really like to see a comprehensive list of the albums he produced. And don't forget The Bollock Brothers! Jdubowsky 11:08, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- Good idea. I have set up a multi-column – please add album titles (with hyperlinking) that have any connection with Plank or his studio. Don't clutter it by adding commentary as to why they are relevent – it will mess up the layout – just put a note about Plank in the linked article's text if it doesn't already mention him. Ricadus 14:11, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe we should add the artists (hyperlinked) to the listed albums? IMHO, that would make it easier for readers (who do not necessarily know the album titles). BNutzer 23:03, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
- I've had a go at something simple (i.e. name in brackets); perhaps hyperlink the first instance of each name? Also maybe the list should favour entries that have wikipedia articles, i.e. to help browsers find the Plank-related projects here, so that it doesn't simply duplicate the entire AMG list (which is actually a bit weird, since a great number of the later items in it date from after his death – compliations and reissues messing up the database no doubt).Ricadus 00:29, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. BNutzer 07:17, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
- I've made the list as comprehensive as I can and cleaned up the formatting for consistency Caitlynmaire 17:15, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

I've also expanded the article and added an infobox. I've removed the start classification in order to have the expanded article rerated. 71.51.253.199 01:34, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Ultravox's "Systems of Romance" was released in 1978 so from a biographical point of view, it is inaccurate to place these in the "1980's" section. Having said that, it is testimony to the man's work that the sound of the album belongs very much to the '80's —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.46.75.86 (talk) 12:19, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Hero.ogg
[edit]Image:Hero.ogg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
