Merge discussion
[edit]- Oppose merge. Most certainly notable topic in its own right. — Cirt (talk) 18:54, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
This article is very disrespectful to the reader
[edit]The first sentence of this article tells us something happened to something called "Library Connection", apparently just presupposing that the reader has heard of something called "Library Connection" and knows what it is.
After the first four long sentences it tells us that the Connecticut Four also did something or other, and we can surmise that "the Connecticut Four" may be plaintiffs or petitioners in a lawsuit, but that is left to surmise. How the number _four_ was arrived at we must also guess.
"were honored by the ALA". That's what it says. Perhaps informing us explicitly of what "the ALA" is wouldn't hurt, but if that's too much, is a link to an article about it too much?

- I've reorganized the article, including compliance with the policy on setting the title phrase in bold at its first appearance. Michael Hardy (talk) 19:01, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
