Two weeks ago we were playing Hammock Creek golf course in Palm City, Florida. One of our foursome made a hole in one. His first name was Monty and he had a "Congressional Member" medallion on his golf bag. Back at the ninteenth hole we had a round of beer. Monty and his playing partner claimed that they were going to the men's room and walked out. They never returned and the waitress presented us with the tab. Not sure of how many "Montys" you have in your club, but this guy is a true "Beltway Bandit". How cheap!! Not an external link
[edit]This is clearly not an external link but perhaps someone would like to work it into the article. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/13/sports/golf/when-the-rounds-were-ammo-at-congressional-country-club.html?pagewanted=all&_r=1& Pjefts (talk) 20:54, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
Here's another one. Maybe a section called HISTORY. https://www.ccclub.org/Default.aspx?p=dynamicmodule&pageid=399760&ssid=323000&vnf=1 23.31.97.50 (talk) 21:32, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
