Confidence Elementary School

[edit]

I'm from this area, and my aunt (Opal Marie Hill Oldaker McGinnis) taught at Confidence Elementary School in the late 1950s/very early 1960s. Unless a new school has recently opened by that name, Confidence Elementary closed decades ago. I'm curious about the source of information used to create this page and that of Midway and Red House, the latter of which was my mailing address as a child. On that page, one of the churches is identified as "United Brethern"; if it is the church I attended, its mailing address might have been Red House, but it was located very much in the middle of Midway, and it was in fact an Evangelical United Brethren Church, and subsequently (and as far as I know currently) a United Methodist Church. What a delight to find these small places in Wikipedia. Cynwolfe (talk) 14:37, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
