More sources?

[edit]

@Asilvering and Czar: Hey there! I recently expanded this article and was quite surprised by how much Amdur, Berry and Thorpe had written about the organisation. I think with a bit of refinement, I could get this to GA level, but for now I was wondering if either of you knew of any more sources on the CGTSR? It seems like Magraw's book might have more on them, but unfortunately I don't have access to volume II. --Grnrchst (talk) 10:38, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Nice expansion! I've requested the index of Magraw v. 2 via ILL to see if it's mentioned. I have a copy nearby if I need to pick it up. Did you exhaust the rest of the Further reading too, or do you need copies of those sources? czar 12:28, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Czar: Just went through them and most provide only a small amount of info. Magraw v. 2 is the only one I don't have access to; according to worldcat the nearest library that has a copy is 2 countries away and my only way of buying it would cost me two weeks' rent. :/ --Grnrchst (talk) 08:36, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
CGT-SR is indexed on pages 247, 249, 250 of Magraw vol. 2. I'll request those. Let me know if you want to see the full index.
If the other Further reading sources don't add anything of value, I'd move them to the talk page and note that so readers do not go there expecting information and finding none. czar 12:52, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
