Article development

I need help doing this right; unfortunately, this is my first page and I think i've already royally messed it up; i'm trying to develop the "Concertina model" of international trade that i've recently read in 2 books (Dani Rodrik's One Economics, Many Recipes & Warner Max Cordon's Trade policy and economic welfare). as you can tell yourself, i've already got the wrong title & am having a hard time flushing-out this concept (i just don't have the technical rhetorical background to do so...). help?
