Nudity
[edit]I edited out some of Shaun Logan's writing concerning nudity in the overview section for the live-action series. It was my feeling that discussing particular episodes involving to what degree nudity was displayed falls outside the interest of this article.
It became such that 1/3 of the whole overview was about nudity, and that didn't seem right. Perhaps if someone would write a bigger more complete overview we could then have a subheader about nudity? It just seems out of place for the moment to me. Discuss with me here if you disagree. Dross82 15:42, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
- That makes sense, and it was unsourced anyway. I just watched (with loathing) the entire thing on DVD and there's no nudity at all, which makes the nudity claim highly suspicious. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 11:16, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Conanliveaction.jpg
[edit]Image:Conanliveaction.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Is Heir Apparent actually episode 22?
[edit]I think the last episode listed might be out of order. That is, plotwise Heir Apparent appears to come somewhere in the middle of the series (as Heir Apparent still has Hissah Zuhl alive). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.127.186.172 (talk) 22:37, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
- According to the index in the DVD box set (Australia), the order is;
- ep 1 &2 Heart of the Elephant,
- ep3 Lair of the Beastmen,
- ep4 Heir Apparent,
- ep5 Siege of Al-Sohn Bar,
- ep6 A Friend in Need,
- ep7 The Ruby Fruit Forest,
- ep8 Three Virgins,
- ep9 Labyrinth,
- ep10 Ransom,
- ep11 Amazon Women,
- ep12 Shadows of Death,
- ep13 Homecoming,
- ep14 Impostor,
- ep15 The Curse of Afka,
- ep 16 The Taming,
- ep17 The Crystal Arrow,
- ep18 The Child,
- ep19 Lethal Wizards,
- ep 20 Red Sonja,
- ep21 The Cavern,
- ep22 Antidote.
- When I have watched the series, and if I remember, I will come back and confirm that order. Also, I have no idea what the airing dates were. I note that the above list is a lot closer to the IMDB list in the linked article than the present list; with the exception of the placement of "Lethal Wizards" at ep. 22 on the IMDB list they are the same. The airing order and the episode order seem to differ, and the present list seems to be in airing order. Expie (talk) 07:47, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
I remember watching the Conan series on local TV in San Francisco. I did not get to see the last few episodes in the series. Did Conan ever defeat Hissah Zuhl and become king, and free the enslaved populations? Qewr4231 (talk) 18:27, 4 January 2014 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: Move to Conan the Adventurer (1997 TV series). Cúchullain t/c 14:28, 22 May 2014 (UTC)
Conan the Adventurer (TV series) → Conan (1997 TV series) – there are multiple "Conan the Adventurer" TV series, and multiple "Conan" TV series (ie Conan (TV series), so this should be moved per WP:NC-TV and WP:PRECISE as this TV show was also called just "Conan" in broadcast (as the current title card image used shows). The current title should redirect to the "Conan the Adventurer" disambiguation page. -- 65.94.171.206 (talk) 00:25, 5 May 2014 (UTC)

- Support I am the nominator. -- 65.94.171.206 (talk) 00:29, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:COMMONNAME. Instead move to Conan the Adventurer (1997 TV series) and give the animated show a similar move to its year of introduction. This show is almost never known simply as Conan, not now (the DVD release has the longer title), and not back when it was being aired. — SMcCandlish ☺ ☏ ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ᴥⱷʌ≼ 07:04, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
- Support Conan the Adventurer (1997 TV series) per SMcCandlish, though the proposed title should certainly exist as a redirect. --BDD (talk) 17:30, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
- Support move to Conan the Adventurer (1997 TV series) and of
"Conan the Adventurer (animated series)" to Conan the Adventurer (1992 animated series)per SMcCandlish walk victor falk talk 09:37, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
- I'd have to oppose Conan the Adventurer (1992 animated series) as over-precise, as there's only ever been one animated series named Conan the Adventurer. (animated series) or (1992 TV series) work equally well to disambiguate that one, though by all means the longer form can be a redirect. --BDD (talk) 17:26, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
- I made that proposal on the basis that it could be confused with Conan and the Young Warriors, an animated series from 1994, maybe I should have pointed that out. But I think you're right anyway, 1992 is a superfluous disambiguator. As someone who does their best to avoid them and exhorts others to do likewise, I guess it goes to show how easy it is to fall into the trap of over-preciseness. Mea culpa. walk victor falk talk 00:42, 22 May 2014 (UTC)
