Merge function problem here
[edit]That has already been suggested on that article's talk page in 2004 with no objections. Pcap ping 15:43, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
- Since we have separate pages on Decision problem, Search problem, Counting problem (complexity) and Optimization problem, might as well let this one be a separate page too? --Robin (talk) 15:07, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
- By analogy it's probably reasonable, especially since I found source for the contents of function problem (albeit not for the exact title terminology). In any case, the notion should be mentioned here (not just as "see also"). I'm not convinced that either function problem or the other similarly stubby articles like counting problem (complexity) or promise problem should exist as separate articles, rater than redirects here, give that this page does/should overview them. Separate articles do give those pages way more google juice than redirects, but that's technically not a valid criteria at WP:STUB... If nobody else has an opinion on it (besides us and the 2004 comment) in a few days, feel free to remove the merge tag. Pcap ping 17:35, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
