[edit]Complex wavelet transforms using continuous wavelets predate this by some way and are still widely used. Might be worth a mention. I went to one of Nick's lectures as a grad student and was very upset to find no discussion of continuous wavelets. Jon Harrop 13:23, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
Inaccuracy about filter sets
[edit]The page states that "All filters from the same orthonormal set", but for the DTCDWT, shouldn't the first set of filters be different from the rest? That's what the FSfarras filters are for in MATLAB. You use FSfarras for the first stage, and then Qshift or Odd/Even for the subsequent stages. Or is that just for the dual-tree complex wavelet PACKET transform? BLOKDAK (talk) 16:09, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
