Wekan
[edit]Here's another open source app to add: Wekan. I don't know all the the details and how it stacks up, or I would have added it myself. Fnordware (talk) 19:38, 5 June 2017 (UTC)
List cleanup - unsourced indiscriminate content
[edit]I have removed the unsourced entries for "non-notable" software entries (by Wikipedia's standards). Wikipedia articles are not supposed to be indiscriminate product lists (WP:INDISCRIMINATE, WP:NOTDIRECTORY), and the list has been filled with even more non-notable product entries over time. Atleast the "notable" entries have a stand-alone article and some kind of coverage, and could be reasonably seen as within our scope as encyclopedia. So I have kept these entries similar to other "Comparison of ..." lists on Wikipedia, even though they are still technically unsourced. GermanJoe (talk) 11:28, 16 June 2017 (UTC)
Merge to Kanban (development) ?
[edit]I don't think this will be controversial, but it could be. Does anyone object to merging this page to Kanban (development)? I suspect that only the list of products will get moved, the tables are excessive. Power~enwiki (talk) 06:04, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- In agreement, as there are un-sourced deleted wikilinks now. Better serve the purpose there.Light2021 (talk) 06:15, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- Agree, but as noted below there is really not that much to merge (unsourced content should not be merged imo). This whole "comparison" fails WP:V: it's unclear how and with which sources the original SPA-author created this data (if the data was taken from another publication, it would be a copyright violation). Anyway, converting this to a redirect is easily reverted if anyone objects later (old information will be preserved in the edit history). And sourced significant facts could always be added in the main article(s) - so no possible content is irretrievably lost. Suggestion: Wait a few more days for additional input from other editors, then change this page to a redirect if noone objects. GermanJoe (talk) 17:14, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- With no opposing views in 3 weeks, I have redirected the page to Kanban (development). The current content violated WP:V, WP:NOTDIRECTORY and arguably WP:PROMO as spam magnet to promote non-notable products. GermanJoe (talk) 03:24, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
Proposed merge with Kanban (development)
[edit]There are only 2 entries left here. No point for a separate article. Light2021 (talk) 06:18, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
