DABCONCEPT

The Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) encompassed not only the Russian Federation but also all other republics within the Soviet Union, like the Ukraine and Kazakhstan; in many of those states there are still communist parties which can be seen as CPSU successors (see Union of Communist Parties – Communist Party of the Soviet Union). The CPRF is its main successor ideologically and in membership, but it is not the legal successor (there is none). Bever (talk) 22:43, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
