annual Land Value Tax (LVT)
[edit]The Commwealth Land Party (UK) (CLP) was active in several parts of England, including in London where in the 1930s members used to advocate LVT at Speakers' Corner in Hyde Park.
The regular newsletter of the CLP was called "Common Weal".
Graham Peace, a co-founder of the CLP wrote a book in 1933 "The Great Robbery", investigating the historic ownership of land in the UK and advocating LVT "The Great Robbery".
