I don't know of any way to introduce this within the nPOV, but ... somehow relevant to this article is the tendency of some Latin American politicians to highlight themselves as being of mixed (mestizo) heritage as a type of "common man" appeal even if their cultural or ethnic heritage is dominantly European. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been called a man of the common people? I seriously doubt that. A large amount of people even in Iran don't like him but can't say so because of fear of the military Canking 21:39, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Common People Ballet

[edit]

The Milwaukee Ballet recently made a ballet called "COMMON PEOPLE" set to William Shatner's last album, HAS BEEN. It was choreographed by Margo Sappington of OH! CALCUTTA! fame. Shatner is making a film about the project. Seems noteworthy, could this be added to his section? He mentions it in this interview: http://www.nypost.com/entertainment/movies/news/n12380.htm

Two-bedroom house

[edit]

"I was born in a two-bedroom house and walked to school with my brother" - What does this mean? In what context is someone supposed to be saying this? I don't understand how it illustrates the 'common man'. 144.32.126.14 (talk) 22:02, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
