Can you please correct or revert my edit, I made a mistake on gallery
I don't know how to revert my mistake on my latest edit on Melo and Brawner Gallery. I am sorry for this mistake. ---Florentino floro (talk) 07:16, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
The lists should be removed
The list of commissioners seems to be excessive and unnecessary. This is not a comprehensive history but a brief encyclopedia geared towards the general public, very few of whom would be interested in who has been a commissioner, or for that matter chairman. Those few that are can get the information elsewhere, and we can provide a link. I think that the lists do not conform to WP:LISTPURP and the article will be improved the lists are removed. --Bruce Hall (talk) 05:24, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
- Agreed. The information is presented three times, once in the History section from the 8th paragraph to the Impeachment subsection, once in the two long lists and once in the overlap table at the bottom. It should be trimmed down to just a list of notable chairpersons and commissioners together with as many of the references used in the History section. Green Giant (talk) 12:40, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
Should not list all past members and chairmen
Being WP:Bold I removed long list of past members and chairmen. Remember Wikipedia is not a directory, see Wikipedia:NOTDIRECTORY but an encyclopedia. To see all the past commissioners, there are other websites to go to and we can link to those – and we do see [1] and [2]. Here it's just cluttering the article, taking away from the article's real encyclopedia purpose. We need more analysis, properly sourced, and less a directory.--Iloilo Wanderer (talk) 04:32, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
Could use a re-write
I think that this article could use a re-write to bring it more in line with other Wikipedia articles. Currently it is made up off too many bullet points. There should be more prose with better discussion of the various issues. Also, there is too much minor detail, such as a list of staff and photos of chairmen. I have made some incremental changes but a more thorough rewrite should probably be done. --Bruce Hall (talk) 13:23, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
