[edit]There is a record of Comet being recaptured by the frigate President under the command of Commodore John Rogers on 5 December 1813, which he mentioned in his letter to the Secretary of the Navy.[1] However, there is no notes about that in a book, written by a crew member, The cruise of the Comet : the story of a privateer of 1812, sailing ... There were two Comets in the West Indies, one of British merchantman. So, that could be the case. /klm 07:29, 27 April 2019 (UTC)
