@Sandstein: I'd come across this as a speedy since there was a draft copy tagged as redundant to this version. While checking to see if the articles were by the same editor (they were) I noted that this was deleted at AfD earlier this month. I'd initially deleted this via G4 and intended the article creator (Easternfighter) to work on the draft copy, however this version has far more sourcing than the original article did. I have no true opinion on whether or not the sourcing is enough to pass GNG, though, so I figured that you'd be a better judge of that. I've deleted the draft version and if this is to be G4'd it'd probably be nice to restore Draft:Combat Hopak so that the editor can work on improving that. There are links to many articles of Ukrainian, Polish ( polish national public television Telewizja Polska ) and other international ( VICE for example ) news agencies now. Plus combat Hopak is recognised by ukrainian government as national form of sport based on ukainian traditions in Ukraine since 1997. It's one of biggest ( if not biggest ) in number of students and schools cossack martial art in Ukraine. It has and had schools outside of Ukraine. This style was participant of 2001 Chungju World Martial Arts Festival ( North Korea ). It was presented on stage of Eurovision in 2005 ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcq2KFxKm0I ) and in promotional clips of Ukraine emited during Eurovision 2005. I can also add that figurs from Combat Hopak were performed by dacers accompaning Ruslana's 2004 performance a Eurovision. And sabre techniques are shown in Ukrainian Oscar nominated movie "Mamay". But I don't have any articles at my hand right now to source that. If you have any advices what type of sourcing can help you make any clear opinion of this martial arts notability you are more then welcome to write them here or at my user page. Tokyogirl79, sorry, I don't have an opinion on the topic's notability and am not interested enough in it to form one. If there are sufficient improvements to make it escape G4 deletion, somebody else can renominate it for deletion. I don't do the whole drafts thing, though; either something belongs in mainspace or it should be deleted. Sandstein 15:25, 10 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
