Eh?

[edit]

The village is approximately three miles north of the international border between the United States of America and Mexico and four miles north of the community of Border City, New Mexico. Now if that is true, it places Border City, New Mexico, a mile south of the Mexican border. Jm546 (talk) 02:16, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agree

[edit]

After reading the sentence on the location of Border City New Mexico, I looked for it on map and Googled the name, but I can't get a hit on it. Does anyone have a reference to it? Bcranega (talk) 18:59, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Concur

[edit]

What Border City, NM south of US-Mexico Border? That would make it Border City, Chihuahua, or perhaps Cuidad Fronteriza, Chichuahua, to cast it in the national language. Perhaps the author who made the error was referring to miscellaneous structures in the vicinity of the actual border post, the US-Mexican Port of Entry between Columbus NM and Palomas, Chi.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.19.26.222 (talk) 14:52, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mineral wealth?

[edit]

At that time [1915], Columbus also possessed rich silver, copper, lead, and zinc deposits.

Doesn't it still? What happened? Valetude (talk) 12:36, 12 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
