LILAC SIAMESE PICTURES

[edit]

Bold textI AM LOOKING FOR INFO ON LILAC SIAMESE, BUT ONLY SAW ONE PIC, FOR A RED POINT. ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND THEM? TYVM LOTS, MELODYANN —Preceding unsigned comment added by MYBROJESUS (talkcontribs) 14:55, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dubious statement

[edit]

It's obvious that nobody has interviewed a cat about this, but adding "seem to" to the phrasing would make it less dubious. Adding "some" - for a result of "some cats seem to blah blah" - would make it even less dubious. But then, these could be construed as weasel words, so what to do? -Etoile (talk) 22:48, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Colorpoint Shorthair or Colorpoint Siamese?

[edit]

Some sections seem to use "Colorpoint Shorthair" and "Colorpoint Siamese" interchangeably. This is very confusing. Subversified (talk) 20:30, 3 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Photos of Colorpoint Shortahairs may not be Colorpoint Shorthairs

[edit]

So the description of the breed states it must be of the (modern) Siamese type. Looking at fanciers sites does show this but two and potentially the third (although it's a 3 month old kitten according to the caption and does appear to be developing a Siamese style build) do not have this Siamese type.

I'm not entirely sure whether or not they are or aren't Colorpoint Shorthairs so I will leave them for now but I intend to replace them with photos from a cat show photographer if I can obtain them. Traumnovelle (talk) 01:16, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
