There is rather more to say about colored music notation than this article covers. It is not limited to education - in some form it dates back many centuries (use of red notes), and coloured notation has been proposed for a century or more as part of various failed music notation reforms. Thanks for bringing this up. It looks like a hatnote is needed, to alert readers to the article Color (medieval music), though that article covers both more and less than all the things you mention.—Jerome Kohl (talk) 16:34, 12 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
