I added the Refimprove template to the article after reading it because most of the article is unsourced conclusions. The primary source for the significant claims appears to be a conservationist group with unidentified funding sources and possible bias. I have nothing against this article if it represents consistent reality... I indeed came here myself to find out whether the loosely detailed information from the media article a few years, indicating water no longer reaches the ocean, was bearing out consistently. I really believe this should be shown through scientific data and possibly even peer-reviewed publishing. Throughout the article there are definitive claims without support. If these are indeed real, I believe these require at least some documentation, and probably better documentation, too, beyond just the conservationist website. I am not familiar with the area, and look forward to getting more concrete info. Thanks! JeopardyTempest (talk) 08:04, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Restoration efforts

[edit]

Currently there are many efforts at restoring the ecosystem. Here's one article from 2014: Saving the Colorado River. Another: Water is returning to the Delta. With it – life and hope. Kortoso (talk) 21:06, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
