[edit]This article seems lacking in content, but I do not know enough about Colonie Center to expand it. If anyone else would like to, it would be appreciated.--lifeisharsh20 06:45, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
Colonie Center is the oldest enclosed mall, opening in 1966. Mohawk Mall and Northway Mall both opened in the Early 1970's. Latham Circle Mall was not enclosed until 1977. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.76.168.89 (talk) 23:24, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
I need to do some research but I do not believe this is the oldest enclosed mall in the Capital District, it may be the oldest EXISTING enclosed mall in the CD, but I do believe the Northway Mall was first, Mohawk Mall may have been built before Colonie Center as well, and Latham Circle probably isnt older unless you count when it was a regular shopping plaza before it was enclosed.24.182.142.254 (talk) 10:04, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Colonie Center is the oldest enclosed mall in the CD. Mohawk Mall opened on October 5, 1970. Northway Mall opened around 1970. Development for Northway Mall began in 1968 or later (Colonie Center opened in 1966). Latham Circle was around as a plaza before Colonie Center but not as an enclosed mall. addendum: Northway Mall's anchors opened in October, 1970 (days after Mohawk Mall opened) according to my research. More detailed information is available at the Northway Mall article. Yx7791 (talk) 20:41, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
