colombiana species

So these were removed at PTM, but a discussion at WT:WPDAB seem to indicate they were ok... and the complementary dab page Columbiana (disambiguation) also has species listed...

Aechmea colombiana, a species of plant native to Ecuador
Alvania colombiana, a species of minute sea snail
Carollia colombiana, a bat species from Colombia
Cryptotis colombiana, a species of shrew
Dorstenia colombiana, a species of herb
Gibberula colombiana, a species of very small sea snail
Grias colombiana, a species of woody plant
Hexachaeta colombiana, a species of fruit flies
Magnolia colombiana, a species of flowering plant
Neocrex colombiana or Colombian Crake, a species of bird
Ortalis colombiana or Speckled Chachalaca, a species of bird
Elaphoidella colombiana, a species of crustacean in the genus Elaphoidella
Pseudoxycheila colombiana, a species of beetle in the genus Pseudoxycheila

After looking at the linked discussion, if you want to re-add the species, I won't object. I have my doubts that these are actually referred to as just "colombiana" though. Theoldsparkle (talk) 17:18, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Some additional clarification: in the linked discussion at WT:WPDAB#Colombiana, it's argued that "species are frequently referred to by the species part of the binomial name". I'm somewhat skeptical that these particular species are all frequently referred to as just "colombiana" but I'm willing to accept that argument. I am not okay with adding every single term on Wikipedia that has "colombiana" in the title, which is exactly what WP:PTM discourages, and which appears to be the goal of the edits I reverted earlier today. If the person who added those terms wants to argue here that all of those terms are legitimately referred to as just "colombiana", he is free to make that argument.
