Vandals?

Vandals in action in the first line? Carlotm (talk) 03:27, 17 February 2016 (UTC)

IPA Pronunciation

I'm no linguist, but both audio samples seem to have a "kh" (or "ch", as in Scottish "loch") sound, not the usual "k" sound. This is not reflected in the article's written pronunciation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.113.230.154 (talk) 17:16, 27 August 2016 (UTC)

Agree. The audio samples do not appear accurate for me. Particularly the pronunciation of 'Kölle' sounds like a "ch" (as in Scottish "loch") in the beginning and then "kölle", i.e. like ch-kölle. Giovanni-PSV (talk) 13:37, 10 September 2016 (UTC)

Gay Cologne

Cologne has one of the biggest gay communities in Germany - but I can't see it mentioned anywhere in the article?

Demographics table

That table for the 2018 composition of foreign born residents supposedly contains tens of thousands of citizens (passport holders) of long dissolved Eastern bloc states (Yugoslavia and the USSR). --92.209.8.169 (talk) 17:30, 13 June 2018 (UTC)

To keep the numbers comparable with other cities, I changed the numbers to non-german passport holders, i.e. no migration background numbers -- (User talk:Peter.fritz.de) 10:30, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

Religion

I recently added a sentence with citation under the “Religion” article. Sackhy (talk) 14:12, 19 April 2019 (UTC)

Edict of Constantine

Quoting: "The Edict of Constantine to the Jews is the oldest documented evidence in Germany."

Is it the oldest documented evidence of Roman presence in Germany? Of Jewish presence in Germany? Or is it the oldest document of *anything at all* in Germany, civilization's first written record? This article doesn't say. TooManyFingers (talk) 14:36, 24 August 2021 (UTC)

Severinsbruecke

I am surprised that you do not have at least a several-paragraph section on this bridge, which was built in the Fifties and during which construction a caisson failed and several men were killed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.48.36.71 (talk) 16:36, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
