I'm removing this photo from the article; it doesn't depict Collingswood, rather parts of Audubon and Haddon Heights. The distinctive building at the bottom is the Acme markets at 39.8926183,-75.0888419, and the other buildings in the vicinity are the Black Horse Pike shopping center and Wal-Mart. Knight Park is in fact some distance away in the opposite direction. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FilthMasterFlex (talkcontribs) 16:42, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Collingswood Mayor

[edit]

@Alansohn: @Western civilization: Hi! I was asked to review these edits.

Firstly I would not use Tripod (a self published website) as a source. I understand you're trying to link to old newspaper articles which may have had their html pages taken offline by the Philadelphia Inquirer but it's usually better to use the official URLs, especially in relation to living persons (Wikipedia:BLP takes a strict attitude related to such information).

Secondly I'm not sure it's necessary to focus on Mayor Maley as a person in this article as the article is meant to be about the municipality. For municipality articles I often state when mayors were hired, resigned, etc. but I often don't go deep into their biographies. Remember Wikipedia:WEIGHT applies not only to opinions but also to facts. If a fact is there but is relatively insignificant relative to the subject it can be removed.
