Google "the Gluten Summit", nov 10, 2013
[edit]Gluten related disease falls basically into 2 categories: 1. Coeliac Disease, with diarrhea. 2. Gluten sensitivity Syndrome.
the Gluten Summit is a collection of discussions by Mds, PhDs and nutritionist interested in Gluten and it effects on the human. in conclusion, the general take is that all antibody disease is secondary to the destruction of permeability of the gut by gluten . 2 of the discussers stated that with Lupus, a gluten free diet would strikingly reduce the antibody titers in 8 months. if this is true. all patients with antibody based diseases should be on a gluten diet, which is nothing more than a real piece of meat, veggie or fruit. Nothing ground up and stuck back together. not a bad diet.
my wife has had undiagnosed diarrhea for over 30 yrs. she has been seen and scoped by 5 different GI specialist without biopsy or diagnosis and more recently been diagnosed with Lupus. . a taxi cab driver in jackson , Wy put me on to the gluten summit. this may be a major break thru in antibody based diseases. Dr. Wahls had multiple sclerosis (http://www.undergroundhealth.com/dr-terry-wahls-cured-herself-of-multiple-sclerosis/) and cured herself as originally reported by eating large quantities of fresh veggies daily. i think she has now realized is that she had also gone on a gluten free diet.( http://tedxtalks.ted.com/video/TEDxIowaCity-Dr-Terry-Wahls-Min). respectfully, norman sudduth, md sudputh@yahoo.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sudputh (talk • contribs) 19:38, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
