I've reverted the deletion of two people for whom we don't yet have pages. That is because when I was writing the Colin Morris (Methodist minister) page, I kept finding web references to these two that could easily have applied to him. So I put them on this page as a simple way of guiding others out of the same confusion. They both meet criteria of notability, and deserve pages - I will make a point of writing the articles shortly. In the mean time I'd be grateful if fellow-editors would accept the deviation from normal practice here. seglea (talk) 23:02, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
Please add them when/if the articles are created. This page is bascially here to be an index of existing articles and nothing more. Well done for planning to write the articles and it'll take two seconds to put them on here when articles exist. Boleyn3 (talk) 23:29, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
- Please see example 2 in the box of MOS:DABRL#Red_links. The link to the historian (who is mentioned on a page but is unlikely to rate an article of his own) is there to eliminate potential confusion with the Methodist minister (who might be thought to have written the historian's books, but didn't). It is within the terms of the guideline. If you wish to revert again, please discuss here, per usual conventions. seglea (talk) 00:19, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
MOS:DABRL states that 'The linked article should contain some meaningful information about the term. I'm afraid this doesn't seem to meet the criteria, as he is only in the refs section, just his name and the book's. Boleyn3 (talk) 08:21, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
