[edit]funet says that Colias tyche is the Pale Arctic Clouded Yellow. Anyone have any sources that point to this being used for C. paleano? I've redirected the redirect for the time being. Noym (talk) 19:32, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
- According to the U. of Alberta Entomology Collection, C. palaeno is now included in C. chippewa. Here is the link Colias chippewa. We should merge these two articles if other sources agree. Dger (talk) 23:03, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
I have given both views on the Colias chippewa page and linked the two articles. Lamas I find usually adopts too few species (without saying why) Korshunov perhaps opts for too many (though giving a reason in this case). It is perhaps best not to merge. Notafly (talk) 16:02, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
- Agreed. Such situations are always difficult. Why does C. aias redirect here? Dger (talk) 20:40, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
