Koch is not a likely spelling of Coke, and vice versa
[edit]Disambiguation pages are not based on having people sound out words in any case - this would be the only one I know of on Wikipedia, and the Wikipedia pronunciation of "Koch" is not "Coke" -- pronounced /ˈkoʊk/ is fairly clear in my opinion. Collect (talk) 01:06, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
- i respectfully disagree. The only people i know personally named "Koch" pronounce their name the same as the trademarked nickname for Coca-Cola (and the Koch (surname) page confirms), and what is the purpose of a disambiguation page if not to help people find/distinguish things with similar names that might be mistaken for one another? If you hear about Mr. or Ms. Koch without seeing the name in writing, surely "Coke" is as reasonable a guess as any? After all, tons of companies are named after their founders! --71.121.143.2 (talk) 05:59, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

Coke → Coke (disambiguation) – This article should redirects to Coca-Cola. 75.142.30.100 (talk) 01:44, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose - if anything Coke (fuel) would be the encyclopedic primary. In ictu oculi (talk) 02:44, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose, no, it is indisputably Edward Coke that should be primary. Kidding, but there is clearly no primary topic here. bd2412 T 04:42, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose: To me and many, "coke" first means the fuel. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 06:01, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose cocaine is quite likely as well. -- 70.50.148.248 (talk) 06:59, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose. Common term with many uses. older ≠ wiser 12:54, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose: classic case where there is no primary topic. PamD 14:04, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose — There would never be agreement on the primary topic here; but the one suggested certainly isn't it S a g a C i t y (talk) 14:11, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose and snow close. No case presented to why this should redirect to Coca-Cola and multiple meanings and common usage don't support this move. Zarcadia (talk) 17:30, 7 February 2014 (UTC)

The changing of illict to illegal
[edit]I believe that the word illict should change to illegal to make it for readers to understand --Lawrencegordon (talk) 13:50, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
- The vast majority of people who read it are going to understand what illicit means. It's not a very hard word. Illicit is also a word that is often used when talking about drugs specifically.★Trekker (talk) 13:54, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
