This is a wonderful and necessary article that is hard to find within Wikipedia. Given the number of other related/small articles on Invisible labor, Emotional labor, Reproductive labor, Care drain etc.. could be worthwhile to create a navigation template for all of these together. I may make it myself, but would love ideas on design first. Overarching theme is Devalued forms of labor? Name is wonky though. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 12:48, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Shushugah,
This is such a fantastic idea! A navigation template would make it so much easier for readers to explore these interconnected yet often overlooked topics. I love the overarching theme of "Devalued forms of labor," but I agree it could use some refinement for clarity. How about something like "Forms of Invisible Labor"? These might capture the essence of the articles while being more concise.
As for the design, we could structure the template by categories, such as:
Labor Migration and Globalization: Care drain, Migrant domestic workers.
Economic and Social Impacts: Unpaid work, Gendered division of labor.
I'm new in Wikipedia and I’d be happy to help brainstorm further or even draft the template in my sandbox to get things started. Let me know how I can contribute! Sstunali (talk) 20:52, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
