Discussion
[edit]I've called Nestle, and asked them about the amount of coffee in coffee crisp. They responded that there was some coffee in the bar, but not much.. and that most of the coffee flavour comes from artificial means. Added to the article.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bbarnett (talk • contribs) 18:37, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
- I just tried it for the first time today. It's good but tastes nothing like coffee. (Yes, I'm replying to an eleven-year-old post. Shoot me.) sixtynine • speak up • 01:31, 12 September 2017 (UTC)
Coffee Crisp Orange
[edit]The orange-flavored Coffee Crisp existed long before 2001, though I remember it being packaged as more of a cookie than a candy bar--they were smaller than a Coffee Crisp bar, and the packaging was more cookie bag-sized. I believe they were called "Orange Crisps", but the package design and font were similar to Coffee Crisp. I often saw them in Montreal grocery stores in the 1980s. Can anyone else back me up on this?
Also, I don't know if it's worth mentioning in the article, but Coffee Crisp was fairly widely available in New York City in the late 1990s/early 2000s. Does anyone know why they disappeared (apart from import places)? I assume it's because we were a test market at the time.-- SHODAN 23:30, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Clarification
[edit]"Places where you would expect to find Coffee Crisp, but can't"
- Why would we expect to find Coffee Crisp in these locations? NorthernThunder 00:09, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, this doesn't make any sense - and it's nonencylopedic besides. I deleted it from the article. NickBurns 04:01, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
Coffee Crisp flavour variations
[edit]The article mentions that the first variation of the chocolate bar was a "Coffee Crisp Orange" flavour first available in 2001, but I dispute this contention. I was regularly purchasing a flavour called "Triple Chocolate" in Edmonton, Alberta in late 1997, but was unable to find it upon returning to my home province of Nova Scotia, so it is possible it was a test market phenomenon. I am looking for independent verification of this. (Daystrom 00:11, 20 March 2007 (UTC))
Coffee Crisp Singles Commercial
[edit]I just saw it and I believe Owen Wilson does the voice of the animated Coffee Crisp chocolate bar. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.51.67.143 (talk) 02:59, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
