The packaging calls it "Coke Black Cherry Vanilla" and "Diet Coke Black Cherry Vanilla," in line with the 2005 switch from naming most drinks -Coke and -Diet Coke. Mike H. That's hot 23:42, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Some people thinks "Diet Coke Black Cherry Vanilla" tastes horrible, and wish for the return of "Diet Coke Vanilla".

Ack. I agree. I loved Vanilla Coke, and I like normal coke, but this stuff tastes gross. By the way, if Black Cherry Coke's sales are bad or declining, I wish someone in the know would add it to the article. I want to see it faaaail. Perhaps they'll return Vanilla Coke if it does. I love Dr.Pepper, and this does not taste anything like it... Who ever wrote that line about this being similar to Dr.Pepper is way off. Insaneassassin247

Do we need to advertize Coca Cola products? Because this wikipedia page looks like that!

Coca-Cola Black Cherry Vanilla and Diet Coke Black Cherry Vanilla will be discontinued by the Coca-Cola Company in early 2007 in the United States & Canada?

[edit]

I've found no evidence of this. There is nothing in Coca-Cola press releases and no mention of it found in Google Searches. --angrykeyboarder (a/k/a:Scott) 17:01, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I certainly hope that they do not. I personally enjoy the taste, but I can understand how some people would not. Looking at the sales of the stuff at our school though, I'd say it's pretty popular stuff. Canadian Scouter 04:08, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do we need to advertise? Well, no but...

[edit]

Coke is the LAST company that needs help with advertising...but, and I am kicking myself for this, I LOVE this damn Black Cherry Vanilla Coke. It is not selling well, and Coke is probably going to yabk it, and I guess I should start hoarding 12 packs. This stuff is not like Dr. Pepper, not very much like ordinary Coke, it is delicious, and I have to stop myself from drinking more than one or two a day. They are really REALLY good. Ok, my two cents, I'll shut up now

What is the percentage for "Classic Coke"?

[edit]

The one bit of info I could use is missing. The remainder? --WibblyLeMoende 02:05, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Discontinued?

[edit]

Diet black cherry coke is being discontinued? I just picked some up, and noticed the new Coke Zero Black cherry vanilla. Is this going to replace the diet version? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Moop stick (talkcontribs) 01:32, 4 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

It is Official. Diet Black Cherry Vanilla is Discontinued.

[edit]

I have been a Pepsi drinker my whole life. This is the first Coke product I have ever liked. I have been addicted to it for about 8 months. There is a huge group of us at work who drink DBCVC every day. Our admin buys a few cases a week and stocks our fridge. Now I cannot find it anywhere.

From Coke: Thank you for contacting The Coca-Cola Company, Ms. Stout. We appreciate your interest in our brands.

We regret your disappointment that Diet Coke Black Cherry Vanilla has been discontinued. This product will only be available on shelves while supplies last. As you may know, we are constantly striving to satisfy our consumers taste preferences.

Please be assured that your comments are important to us and will be shared with the appropriate management here at our corporate headquarters. Your loyalty to our brands is certainly appreciated. We hope this information is helpful. Should you have additional questions or comments, please feel free to contact us again.
