Series guides
As we enter a third series, would it not make sense to create separate articles for each series? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.64.65.250 (talk) 16:36, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
I agree. I'm updating the 3rd series and the page is getting very long (especially as I'm being quite thorough with my synopsis each day!) I'm not too confident on the process of splitting it though. We need a general article and a separate one for each actual series. Stuntbaby (talk) 19:25, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
- Agreed. We need a Coach Trip article explaining the series, the format, etc. Then we need the relevent Coach Trip 2005, Coach Trip 2006 and Coach Trip 2009 articles... »—Mikay—talk—contribs→ 00:26, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
I think we should go ahead and create separate pages, this article is far too big. Especially with the detailed information for ALL THREE seasons consisting of 30+ Days —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.178.147.26 (talk) 17:08, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
Try sorting out the grammar. Some sections are practically unreadable 82.42.136.183 (talk) 15:00, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
I visited this page to get some background on the show, but - and I hate to be negative - found the article very difficult to understand. Most sentences, though spelt correctly and reasonably grammatical, seem to make no sense. Shorter sentences would be a great start.Peynirli (talk) 20:21, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
In series 3, wasn't this 50 days and didn't Tom and Matt go past 30 days? There should be recognition for all those who passed 30 days not just Matt and Paul in series 4.(Coachtripfan (talk) 18:27, 20 December 2011 (UTC))
List of contestants
There is no reason for seperate articles listing the contestants. It is far more useful putting the lists in the main article.
The day-to-day account for Series 2
Does anyone agree that this part should be made into a new article altogether because at the moment it is too long. I feel that this would neaten the article up as there could be a readily available link to this new article, instead of these accounts taking up so much room. Unless anyone objects I will make this section into a new article in seven days from now. Bababoum 20:32, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Voting history table
I think one i needed, showing who voted who, when they arrives/where voted off etc, it will make the article more clear and less text based --92.27.10.5 (talk) 16:17, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Which of these styles for the voting table looks best:
This one with names of who voted who
|
Or this one with Number of votes instead of names of who voted who
|
Red Carded - Eliminated | Tourist with 2 Yellow Cards (Red Card) | ||||||||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Yellow Carded | Tourist(s) with 1 Yellow Card | ||||||||||||||
Walked | Tourist(s)who left voluntarily' |
I prefer the one on the right as it shows how many votes each person has received which is what the table is about. Paul2387 18:22, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- I might be missing something here, but isn't there something along these lines already at the individual series' articles? -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 11:56, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- What I meaant was that some seem to use one format and some the other and I was trying to get peoples opinions on which to use throughout.Paul2387 12:05, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- That makes sense! However, I have no opinion on this matter. Thanks for clarifying it though -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 12:34, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- The one on the LEFT. Because then you'd have to think about articles such as Big Brother - do you change every series with that with '1 vote, 2 votes, etc' db1987db (talk) 09:47, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

I think he deserves an article on wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.173.0.94 (talk) 19:46, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

Whilst he is a good presenter on Coach Trip he has done little TV work. His only other TV programme, aired to date, Brendan's Magical Mystery Tour is less popular than Coach Trip. Not deserving of a separate entry. (Coachtripfan (talk) 15:01, 20 July 2013 (UTC))
List of countries
The list of countries appears to be a list made by copying all the countries in that area and adding '(not yet visited)' after ones to which they haven't been. This seems stupid... for example Cyprus, Turkey and Russia feature in both 'Europe' and 'Western Asia', which is it? Would it not be easier to actually list places they've been to and add countries as they visit? Lumpold (talk) 18:08, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
- I agree and I've made the changes --87.194.152.68 (talk) 14:34, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
The list of countries is confusing. The preface "On each series of Coach Trip there are three continents per list of countries so far visited and some that are yet to visit" doesn't make much sense. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.129.94.198 (talk) 15:40, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
I agree with the above. I made some changes but someone on the same IP address keeps coming back and changing it back to how it was. It makes little sense to have it the way they want it. 78.150.164.100 (talk) 13:59, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Lack of updates on Celebrity Coach Trip Series 2
I think it's pretty disgusting when Celebrity Coach Trip (series 2) article has never been made and updated in days, if anyone of you are watching the show when it repeats or on demand...please make a new article and update it because they are lacking in updates. User:82.5.224.244 18:25, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
This is different from Coach Trip - and not the same premise. On Coach Trip two people who know each other join a group of other pairs. They travel round Europe and each day vote off the least liked pair. On Brendan's Magical Mystery Tour none of the contestants know each other. There's no voting off people you don't like, and five days are spent on one location. This new show has been less well-received. (Coachtripfan (talk) 14:59, 20 July 2013 (UTC))
Lack of updates on Coach Trip series 11 and 12
I think it's pretty disgusting when Coach Trip (series 11 & 12) articles have never been made and updated in days, if anyone of you are watching the show when it repeats or on demand...please make two new articles and update them because they are lacking in updates. Voting table colours
Below are the colours that I think should be used through out all the series of Coach Trip to make sure that every series matches. If anyone else thinks that the colours should be different or the text should state something else, I am happy to change them. The Doctor ALL 13!! 16:02, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
Couple won the series | Couple were yellow carded | Couple didn't vote |
Couple were runners up | Couple were red carded | Voting was cancelled |
Couple came third | Couple were immune from votes | Received a prize |
Couple came fourth | Couple refused to vote | Couple were removed from the coach |
Couple left the coach | Couple banned from voting | Couple were yellow/red carded for timekeeping |
Coach Trip: Road to... series (2016-present)
Would it be possible for the Road to.. series to be split from the main series lists please. These new versions are NOT part of the old Coach Trip era and have seperate series pages on the Channel 4 website and are no way classed as series 14, 15 etc. I would therefore also like to make a request for the following pages to be moved to their relevant (and correct titles):
- Coach Trip (series 14) → Coach Trip: Road to Ibiza
- Coach Trip (series 15) → Coach Trip: Road to Marbs
- Coach Trip (series 16) → Coach Trip: Road to Zante
- Coach Trip (series 17) → Coach Trip: Road to Tenerife
The Ibiza, Marbs and Zante pages are unable to be moved by normal users as they need moderators permission.
