Fair use rationale for Image:Clydiekingcd.jpg

[edit]

Image:Clydiekingcd.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

deleted unsourced reference

[edit]

Have deleted the following from the article page pending reference:

In 1998, newspapers (including The Daily Telegraph) reported that Bob Dylan's then girlfriend, Susan Ross, had stated that Dylan had been secretly married to Clydie King and had two children by her. She also stated that he had had long term relationships with other backing vocalists including Helena Springs, Carol Woods and Carol Dennis.

Rumors?

[edit]

There are some sources that say Ms. King has passed (https://www.facebook.com/goldstarrecordingstudios/posts/1917555085038499). But I see no actual news stories. What is the protocol for verifying such a thing?Carlo (talk) 23:25, 8 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Mrs King sang in background for Lou Christie with 2 other black Woman, who were they ??

[edit]

Mrs King was a background singer for Lou Christie with 2 other black beautiful women, during a lightning strikes concert he had a beard then!! Who were those back ups ??? Thanks Ron sr 24.184.100.148 (talk) 01:16, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It was actually the Blackberries that she sung with on the midnight special, and it was Venetta Fields and Sherlie Matthews who she sang with.

Which city is Clydie King from? I’m concerned because how can she be from Atlanta & Dallas at the same time but it isn’t mentioned in the article that she is from Atlanta. I think this category called “Singers or Musicians from Atlanta” should be removed. 2601:406:4200:8E90:10FA:6A44:2EDA:ED16 (talk) 21:17, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the Atlanta category - I think it's a longstanding error, arising from an earlier error, which was later corrected, in giving her place of birth. Ghmyrtle (talk) 21:35, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
