Merge/Tidy suggestion

This article deserves credit for the detail of the content, but a lot of the pertinent historical stuff could go on the (also very comprehensive) main Clyde page, or is already there. The 'notable players list' is on both articles when it could be removed from one with a link to the other page.

It also seems the page isn't being updated with current squads/results.

Lastly, it's debatable whether Clyde academy deserves its own article? The authors confirm they have not been been in the top tier of the reserve or youth structures for the past 40 years. The equivalent Scottish academy articles are for the largest clubs challenging for the national competitions, which Clyde youths have not really come close to doing. They are certainly important to the club and to the local community, but does that justify a separate article for the junior branch of a semi-professional team with only a few hundred season ticket holders? Belated response, but yes, I think your concerns are valid. An article like this does seem something like overkill. While there is an impressive level of detail, it's very patchily sourced. Jellyman (talk) 10:10, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
