Acronym?

I have never gotten a definitive answer on whether CLUSTAL is an acronym. I have heard that, of course, the "W" stands for "weighted" in CLUSTALW--but what of the term itself???--Frenkmelk 04:40, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
