Development

I noticed that there were some reports that Jonathan Lynn had adapted his own screenplay, but this doesn't seem to be the case. There was an announcement of a national tour in 2018 but that doesn't seem to have happened. There also may be some more cogent differences in the production between 2018-2023 but I haven't found sources that make explicit what those are.
