Peace talk changes

[edit]

Would perhaps be worth adding a section on clubmen response to the failure of King and Parliament in reaching a peace agreement, particularly the failure of the Uxbridge negotiations. Megsssy (talk) 09:18, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

pamphlet culture

[edit]

Would it be worth adding a section on the relationship between the Clubmen and popular political culture, how the printing press and pamphlet culture allowed the Clubmen to create a national movement based on local issues? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Megsssy (talkcontribs) 12:10, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Reference format

[edit]

I'm thinking of expanding this article and bringing it up to a GA standard. I'd like to change the format of the references to Sources plus short harvnb / sfn templated citations to facilitate better use of sources. Please let me know if that's a problem, otherwise I will do some work on this in a few weeks. Jim Killock (talk) 06:49, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
