Hello! This is a new draft for the CNCF Wikipedia page. Another draft was previously proposed and deleted: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Cloud_Native_Computing_Foundation, however, this one includes over 75 citations and detailed research. Because of that, I am considering this to be a new page entirely instead of a slightly tweaked iteration of the older page. PDX5354 (talk) 18:48, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
Contested deletion
[edit]This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it is written in neutral language. Sources are cited and quotations are included with each statement about the organization’s status and development, some of which could be perceived as promotional if not for outside research includedPDX5354 (talk) 22:08, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
- I agree with the main author that the page is not overly promotional in tone and have removed the CSD tag, without prejudice to an AfD if others disagree. Notability doesn't seem to be a problem either, as the sources exceed WP:ORG. However, I would rename the page to replace redirect Cloud Native Computing Foundation and link it prominently from Linux Foundation#Cloud Native Computing Foundation.
