CloudMosa is an American-based technology company headquartered in Saratoga, California.[1][2] Its main product is Puffin Browser, which is available in both desktop and mobile versions.[3] Puffin Browser uses a client-server architecture. Its client application is running on user devices, while its server is running on a cloud hosted remote browsing service. CloudMosa has raised a total of $21.6M in funding over 1 round. This was a Series A round raised on Jul 11, 2015.[1][4]
The company was founded in 2009 by former Google developer Shioupyn Shen, who currently holds the position of CEO.[5][6] In November 2010, CloudMosa launched Puffin Browser for mobile devices on Apple iOS,[7] and Google Android.[8] In October 2016, CloudMosa partnered with Sony to supply their internet connected TV sets with the Puffin TV app.[9] In December 2018, Thailand's GSM mobile phone operator AIS (Advanced Info Service) shipped Puffin Browser in the AIS Playbox.[10][11] As of November 2018, Puffin Browser has reached 100 million users worldwide.[12][13] In January 2019, CloudMosa released Puffin Internet Terminal, which is a browser running on Raspberry Pi.[14][15][16] In May 2019, the desktop versions of Puffin Browser on Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS were rebranded as Puffin Secure Browser, which focused on security enhancements from its remote browsing architecture.[17]
Starting from 2017, Apple stopped CloudMosa from updating Puffin Browser on Apple iOS.[18][19] CloudMosa decided to discontinue Puffin Web Browser and Puffin Academy on the iOS platform on July 1, 2019.[20] References

[edit]- The IP editor cannot ascribe edits to an unregistered account.[a] An unregistered account is not an anonymous IP account, rather, it is an account which has never been created. The Patrick Liu username is not a registered username.[b]
- If the IP editor wishes to make the disclosures they are free to do so. They are also free to create their own account, make disclosures, and then make edit requests from that account. As it stands, the IP editor is the one who has made the request, so it is the IP editor who needs to make the disclosures. That disclosure cannot be attributed to an unregistered account (an account which does not exist).
- The request does not state what is to be removed (along with which references are to be removed.)

Notes
- ^ The IP editor created a
{{connected contributor}}
template and placed in the "User1" parameter the name "Patrick Liu". The name entered under this parameter should be either an editor's IP (if using an anonymous IP) or the editor's username (if using a registered account). The "User1" parameter should not include an editor's real name, and is only meant to contain either one of the 2 types of usernames used for identifying Wikipedia accounts—an IP or a registered username. In this case, the "Patrick Liu" username placed under the "User1" parameter is an unregistered account. - ^ The IP editor is encouraged not to use their real name. Real names are not required to make edit requests. They only "name" the editor needs to give is either the IP they are editing from — or if using a registered account — the username of that registered account.

Hi, Mr. Spintendo,
I am new to Wikipedia, and still struggle to learn how to do it right. Thank you so much for your patience and detailed explanations. Now, I understand the right way of "User1" parameter.
By your suggestions, I put the new text by starting a new topic, fix the "User1" parameter, and sign my post with four tildes. My update to this Wikipedia page is to add informative content for CloudMosa instead of redirecting the page to its product "Puffin Browser". (Not to remove the page itself)
Kindly let me know if I do it right this time. Thanks again.

[edit]The disclosure you have now made is perfectly done. Thank you for filling that out, it's much appreciated!
Now in regards to your request, I see that CloudMosa is a WP:REDIRECT to Puffin Browser. You have indicated that you wish for this information to be placed in an article on CloudMosa. This entails submitting your request to articles for creation. COI edit requests involve content requirements, while the requirements for an article to be created involve a separate set of requirements. Thus, your request should be submitted to AFC to ensure article creation requirements including notability are met. The information should be submitted as a draft article; after submitting to AFC, if the draft is approved, the draft can be merged with the CloudMosa redirect to make its own article. Should you have any questions about this process, please feel free to ask at the Help desk. Regards, Spintendo 01:34, 13 June 2019 (UTC)
