homologue

[edit]

There is an oxazole homologue which appears to be equipotent (≈2.5 - 5mg/kg). Marginal benefits over parent. Less acidic so IV doesn't 'burn' the vein. Synthesis is far more complex because it's immediate precursor cannot be made by the hydrolysis of vitamin B1. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.99.74.135 (talk) 16:53, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Overdose

[edit]

While admitted to A&E suffering with Status Epilepticus. I was put on a infusion of Heminevrin. Apparently the infusion should have been stopped when the episode of epileptic seizures were under control. Instead the infusion was left & a litre was absorbed into my body. This all started at work on a early Weds morning. The next i remember is coming around on Sat evening in the ICU unit. I had been in a coma for four days. People often tell me that i should have claimed compensation. It was an error on someone's behalf. The National Health Service has done so much for me. Had i claimed, then it could have resulted in a nurse losing her job & no amount of money is worth that. 92.25.13.201 (talk) 07:45, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
