I removed it
[edit]I just did. :P
I think we've done a good job boys/girls, there are areas for improvement still, photos of the Main school and Sixth form would be nice. Otherwise, a pretty good improvement from:
- Clitheroe Royal Grammar School was founded in 1554 as The Free Grammar School of King Philip and Queen Mary for the education, instruction and learning of boys and young men in grammar; to be and to continue for ever. Currently, it has two sites: the main school, housing boys and girls from ages 11-16, and the 6th form centre.
Also, please try to avoid 'unencyclopedic' content. I've been using Wikipedia a few years now, so I'm kind of used to it, but here's a checklist:
- No personal or other people's opinions
- Neutral point of view
- Not too overstated (avoid repeating information)
Wasn't too hard...
Here's what i think we need to add:
- a new briefing (replace top uncategorized bit)
- information about the technology carousel
- the school logo
- language college project information
feel free to add other stuff, too, though...

Incomplete school groups
[edit]I've just added String Ensemble, I'm unsure of the exact namings of other music groups. They could be added. Perhaps you want a section on the range of extra things we have, like the Maths challenge, enterprise day for Y10, Management conference for Y12/13(can't remember which)... etc.
Just a few suggestions. I'm not sure on exact thingies for any of them, nor do I have any wiki experience, so I'll leave it as suggestions for you, if it's relevant.
I think we should add things about how the school is falling down, the teachers run a slightly comunist school and they are obsessed with detentions, i hear they have a leader board for the teachers, how many fridays they can hand out.
lanugage college successful bid
[edit]Can we add the language college successful bid (don't know if official yet)
- It's already in the article under "Language College bid". Sarah Ewart (Talk) 10:44, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
nicer picture
[edit]Maybe of the sixth form?
The School
[edit]I think it should outline that the renovations that took place in 2005 were a lick of paint here and there and the new "high tech" language lab will not be built in my time i tell ya.
Timetable: "Singles/doubles system"
[edit]This needs to be defined or reworded. The only references I find to it online are in connection with CRGS. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 05:13, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
