Remove JFK conspiracy section

[edit]

That Worldcat.org can be an RS does not make sense. It is the only source for this section of the article. In any Wikipedia article, an alternative theory about the shootings of JFK, Officer Tippit and Lee Oswald requires at least one RS. There is no reliable evidence that Clint Murchison Jr. allowed assassination conspirators to use his house. Madeleine Brown by herself is a bad source on a meeting at Murchison’s house. None of the men whom she placed at the meeting ever admitted to being there. Each man lived well into his 60s, at least. Only Brown came forward with the story of a November 21, 1963 meeting at Murchison’s house.Brent Brant (talk) 06:00, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

THIS ARTICLE AND THE RELATED ARTICLE ABOUT CM SR ARE FACTUALLY INCORRECT AND TANGLED

[edit]

I intend to work on this article and the article about CM Sr. with a total revision since both articles are jumbled and factually incorrect - with details that should be on one being on the other and vice versa. Other information is of a poor quality and major details are missing on both. Neither article should be relied upon by anyone seeking information about these two individuals - as they are written as of this moment in time. I will work on them a little at a time - unless someone else beats me to it. --Fk27jh (talk) 17:34, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Phi Beta Kappa in Electrical Engineering?

[edit]

This article says Clint Murchison Jr. graduated from Duke with a degree in Electrical Engineering. It says he was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Now I was never a Phi Beta Kappa so I might be mistaken, but I thought Phi Beta Kappa was limited to the humanities and natural sciences? If so, wouldn't that exclude EE majors? I know the NYT obit repeats this factoid:

http://www.nytimes.com/1987/04/01/obituaries/cw-murchison-jr-dies-in-texas-at-63.html

Still, I think both this article and the NYT obit are incorrect. Any Phi Beta Kappas out there know the real requirements?
