Clint Frazier → Jackson Frazier – Requested to be called by another name a month ago (NY Post), and has been since, including on MLB.com and his limited mentions such as minor league recaps, among others. DatGuyTalkContribs 21:40, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
- Support per WP:NAMECHANGES. The post-change RS are indeed limited thus far, but they are respecting his wishes and so should we. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:51, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
- Support Given that MLB, bbref, and fangraphs all call him this, I do not think this is especially controversial. Nohomersryan (talk) 22:11, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
- Support For all of the above reasons. Should be uncontroversial. --Dennis C. Abrams (talk) 22:30, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
Name change
[edit]Shouldn't the mention of his name change be in the lead? A person notable as "Clint" suddenly wanting to be known as "Jackson" is perfectly fine, but I'd think that it should be noted, so as to quickly clear up any confusion that a reader may have. Yitz711 (talk) 23:43, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
- Yitz711, it's already noted in Jackson Frazier#Personal life. I added a brief mention to the first line a la Giancarlo Stanton. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:54, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
As he is now going by "Clint" again, I WP:BOLDly moved the page back as it was. – Muboshgu (talk) 00:32, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
