Do we really need this article?
[edit]I don't really understand the point of this article. Do we really need it? Should it be merged with effects of climate change on mental health (currently called Psychological impact of climate change? Or is it more about the "psychology behind climate inaction" which is completely different and probably covered elsewhere? EMsmile (talk) 23:01, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- See also a discussion here where I have suggested to have a disambiguation page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Climate_change#What_are_your_thoughts_on_the_article_climate_psychology%3F EMsmile (talk) 07:44, 5 April 2022 (UTC)
The proposed disambiguation page could look like this: Climate psychology can refer to:
- Effects of climate change on mental health
- Psychological impact of climate change
- Psychological aspects surrounding climate inaction
- Psychological aspects surrounding climate communication - Climate communication#Applying findings from psychology
- Psychology of climate change denial EMsmile (talk) 13:36, 21 April 2022 (UTC)
- I was going to expand it into a broader understanding of climate psychology. The current article only focuses on climate change and not as much climate psychology as a whole. Asbounds (talk) 05:51, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
