Suggest you request a copyedit
[edit]Hello again. Suggest you request a copyedit at Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/Requests to tighten up sentences like “Future challenges involve the polish health system dealing with increased exposure to extreme weather events, but also diseases not yet occurring in our climate zone.”
This is not a criticism of your English. I am a native English speaker and one of the guys at GOCE just finished copyediting an article I wrote and they have considerably improved it. Chidgk1 (talk) 15:14, 24 May 2023 (UTC)

- ... that climate change in Poland has been monitored for over 100 years? Source: will cite if reviewer finds hook interesting
- Reviewed: Template:Did you know nominations/Xiazhi
- Comment: Nominated so as not to miss deadline but hoping ILoveWisents (or someone else who has never done a DYK so does not need QPQ) will take it over as I don’t enjoy QPQ
Created by ILoveWisents (talk). Nominated by Chidgk1 (talk) at 06:13, 25 May 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Climate change in Poland; consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.
- A large enough expansion. QPQ present. @ILoveWisents and Chidgk1: Please point me to the hook fact in the article...though I have to think there is a better hook somewhere. The section "Observed thermal climate changes" has two paragraphs that do not end in an inline citation. I also spot a few issues where a fresh eye would be useful. - Sorry for delay - intend to fix but after tomorrow may not be able to edit until next month Chidgk1 (talk) 08:41, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
- @Sammi Brie and Theleekycauldron: Given that the nominator has stated they won't be able to edit until next month, should the nomination be closed or should something else be done? Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 13:33, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
- without action, i'd say it's time to mark for closure. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 05:23, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
Baltic Sea wind energy
[edit]Hello ILoveWissents,
the critisism on Polish climate policy is justified, but I suggest to mention also something positive. The policy aims for offshore wind to play a major role in electricity generation. See Poland 2022, Energy Policy Review, p.77, https://www.iea.org/countries, select Poland. Rwbest (talk) 10:28, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
